FLORIDA - Southwest meets Southeast - Places and the Fashion We Loved
A couple things we loved about Christine’s last trip to Florida with her hubby, and the products we would use again? It’s no secret Christine loves the beach when the mountains of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, are still covered with snow. We wanted to keep an authentic southwestern vibe while still enjoying the laid back beachy fit vibes of Anna Marie Island and St. Petersburg Florida Beach. Here's how they did it!
The purpose of the trip was rest. Enjoy lots of quiet time in an estate type room facing inland for added privacy while still being on the water. Christine grew up in Texas off of Lake Dallas so we chose a room hovering calm lake like waters. Hotel Zamora was just the low key vibe needed. We chose a 4th story corner room with a private balcony for morning coffee and dolphin viewing. The added expresso machines in the room were also an added bonus to booking with this Spanish revival Boutique suite. Hubby could sleep in while giving Christine the time to journal with espresso.
Day tripping to Anna Marie was no small feat and “I was glad we rented a cobalt blue colored car”.
The couple made some great stops along the way at Foxi Coffee and were able to meet with Ashley with Arrows and Bow. "They were very kind". The nook they are building in Anna Marie is lovely.
The fox mercantile is currently building a garden addition to their peaceful oasis. We can’t wait to follow along with that project! here
The couple enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Water Front Restaurant! "We forgot to take any pictures because the food was so good, and it looks right out on the ocean!"

To finish off the trip and enjoy a Michelen Star 20th anniversary dinner, Christine + BJ went to Maritana at The Don CeSar. With their wonderful tasting menu it is the ideal way to end a long restful weekend trip.
