Daniel Medina Jewelry: Sonoran Gold Turquoise in a Field of Ferns
We shot Daniel Medina's work in a fern field. I had seen it the week before while hiking with my husband. So we hiked the small crew up the forest road wearing pounds of green jewelry and a mustard Free People dress for the launch.
Daniel's Sonoran Gold little buttons have affectionately been called Nest Egg pieces by our staff. A name that has stuck.
Every year we only get a couple dozen of his creations and we like it like that.
Fast fashion and fast sales are not our style. We love items people want to eat up, of course. We are a gallery and selling is our bread-and-butter.
But slow buying is also fun — because these are pieces that don't go away. They get better with time.
A field of ferns seemed like a good place to photograph a nest egg.
These pieces are made with .925 sterling silver, Daniel's unique stamp work, and high quality Sonoran Gold Turquoise.
We can't get enough of these beauties that bring a bit of joy and nature into our wardrobe every time.
